Chocolate Cake Recipe Easy

Yo yo yo, what’s good fam? I’m here to bless y’all with my fave easy chocolate cake recipe. Don’t worry if you ain’t the best cook, this cake’s gonna be a piece of cake (pun intended) for ya. Let’s get into it!

Chocolate Cake that hits STRONG!

Check this out, this cake is gonna hit all the spots, especially if you’re a chocolate lover like me. We bouta use some basic ingredients that you can find at your local grocery store, no need to go to some fancy shmancy gourmet store. Check this out:

• 2 cups of sugar
• 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour
• 3/4 cup of cocoa powder
• 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp of baking soda
• 1 tsp of salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup of milk
• 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
• 2 tsp of vanilla extract
• 1 cup of boiling water

That’s it, that’s all we need. Pretty easy, right? Let’s get started!

The Method to Our Cake Madness

First, mix together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine them well in a bowl. Then, add in eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract into the same bowl. Mix everything together on medium speed on your mixer, or you can do it by hand if you’re feeling like Popeye. Once it’s mixed, decrease the speed then carefully add in boiling water. Remember fam, you gotta be careful with this part or you gonna hurt yourself. Mix everything together until you get a smooth, liquid-like consistency.

Time to Bake!

Next, we gotta prepare our baking pans. Grease two 9-inch cake pans and preheat your oven to 350°F. Pour our cake batter evenly into each pan, then bake it for 30-35 minutes. Every oven is different, so you gotta check the cake’s done-ness by putting a toothpick in the middle after 30 minutes. If it comes out clean, that means it’s done.

The Best Part – Tasting Our Cake Creation

Our cake’s done, ya’ll! Let it cool down, then you can add some of your favorite frosting or topping. Me? I like to keep things simple with some whipped cream on top, maybe a few raspberries or strawberries for some color. And that’s it fam, you’ve made an easy and delicious chocolate cake. Ain’t it marvelous?
