Today, I want to share with you two of my favorite instant pot brisket recipes that will leave your taste buds dancing in delight.
Instant Pot Brisket Recipe
This recipe from Life Made Simple Bakes is a game-changer. The brisket comes out so tender and full of flavor, you won’t believe it was cooked in an Instant Pot! To start, you will need:
- 3 lb beef brisket
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup beef broth
First, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and rub it all over the brisket. Set aside. Pour the beef broth into the Instant Pot, then place the brisket on top. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 1 hour and 20 minutes. After it’s done, allow the pressure to release naturally for about 10 minutes, then carefully turn the valve to release the remaining pressure. Remove the brisket from the Instant Pot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
Instant Pot BBQ Beef Brisket
This recipe from Real Simple Good is another winner. The barbecue flavor is out of this world, and it’s so easy to make. You will need:
- 2 lb beef brisket
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Mix together the BBQ sauce, beef broth, apple cider vinegar, dijon mustard, honey, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Rub the mixture all over the beef brisket. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the Instant Pot, then place the brisket on top. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 70 minutes. Let the pressure release naturally for about 15 minutes, then turn the valve to release the remaining pressure. Remove the brisket from the Instant Pot and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite BBQ sides.
