But wait, there’s more! The second banana bread recipe I found is from Momsdish, and it’s just as amazing as the first one. This one calls for some sour cream (which might sound weird at first, but trust me, it works), vanilla extract, flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, eggs, and, of course, ripe bananas.
To make this beauty, you’ll need to mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in one bowl, and the bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract in another. Then, you’ll need to beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, add the eggs, and mix well. Finally, you’ll need to add the flour mixture, the banana mixture, and any nuts you want (pecans work great here), and mix until everything is well combined.
Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, and bake for about an hour. Once it’s done, let it cool for a bit, slice, and enjoy.
