Salmon is one of my favorite fish, and one of the best ways to enjoy it is grilled. Nothing beats the smoky, charred flavor of a perfectly grilled salmon. I’m going to share with you two of the best-grilled salmon recipes with soy sauce and fruit salsa that will surely leave your taste buds begging for more.
Grilled Salmon with Soy Sauce Recipe
This grilled salmon recipe is a game-changer, and it’s incredibly easy to make. The secret ingredient that makes this dish stand out is the soy sauce. So let’s dive in and get cooking!
Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets, skin-on (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Reserve a 1/4 cup of the marinade for basting.
- Place salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish and pour the remaining marinade over the fish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove salmon from marinade and discard marinade.
- Place salmon on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for 5-6 minutes or until grill marks appear. Baste the top of the salmon with reserved marinade.
- Carefully flip the salmon using a wide spatula. Grill for an additional 5-6 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flaky.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
Grilled Salmon with Fruit Salsa and Pita Chips
