Lemme tell ya somethin’, y’all better hold onto ya hats ’cause I’m ’bout to share with you some food that’ll knock ya socks off – egg sushi! Now, I know some of y’all might be thinking, “Sushi? Isn’t that like raw fish or somethin’?” But let me tell you, egg sushi is somethin’ else entirely, and it’s so good it’ll make you wanna slap ya mama (but don’t do that, that’s not nice).
Now, I came across a couple of pictures of egg sushi the other day and I just had to share ’em with y’all. First up, we got this here photograph by Tul Chalothonrangsee. The colors in this picture are just poppin’ – the yellows and greens just make it look so fresh and delicious. And let me tell you, it tastes even better than it looks. You got the soft, fluffy egg on the outside, and on the inside, you got some sticky rice and some other goodies like cucumber and avocado. And of course, it wouldn’t be sushi without some soy sauce and wasabi on the side.
Next up, we got this picture from Pinterest, and this one’s got a little bit more goin’ on. It’s got some fried egg, some smoked salmon, and some cream cheese. Now, I know what y’all might be thinking, “Cream cheese? In sushi?” But trust me on this one – it just works. It’s like a little taste of heaven in each bite.
I gotta say, egg sushi might just be my new favorite food. It’s quick and easy to make, it’s healthy (well, unless you go crazy with the soy sauce), and it’s just dang delicious. So if y’all haven’t tried it yet, go ahead and give it a try. And if you have tried it before, well, then you know what I’m talkin’ about.
Now, I know some of y’all might be wonderin’, “Why is she talkin’ about egg sushi in this tone?” Well, that’s just who I am – I like to have a little fun with my language. And besides, it’s important to have a little bit of levity in life, don’t y’all think?
